For more than two decades, DJ Ken Bruce has been testing the knowledge of music fans in his fabled quiz segment PopMaster.

He took his beloved pop trivia challenge to Greatest Hits Radio after leaving the BBC in March, but the classic format remains the same: contestants are offered a choice of bonus questions (worth six points to a normal question’s three) to try to inch them to the top score of 39 per round.

Here, exclusively for the Daily Mail, the PopMaster himself has compiled more than 40 fiendish questions to see how well you really know the charts…
