Terrified neighbours spot gang on e-bikes firing shots at Kirkby house

A gang of men on Sur-Ron e-bikes shot at the front door of a house.

Merseyside Police were called to Alvina Lane in Kirkby at 7.50pm on Friday, December 22, following reports of shots being fired. Once police arrived at the scene they found a number of shots were fired towards the front door of a home.




Witnesses reported a gang of men on Sur-Ron bikes turning up at the house before a number of shots were fired. Merseyside Police have confirmed nobody is believed to have been injured in the incident.

An investigation is underway and house-to-house, witness and CCTV enquiries are being carried out in the local area. A cordon is in place covering around 10 houses as forensics assess the scene.

Chief Inspector Dave Currie said: “It is very early stages as we seek to establish what has taken place and we are speaking to people in the local area to understand what has happened.

“It appears a group of males on Sur Ron bikes turned up at a house in Alvina Lane and shots were fired towards a doorway.
