A man has been charged after shots were fired inside a home last week.
Merseyside Police confirmed officers were called to an address on Yew Tree Road, Halewood, following reports that shots had been fired inside a building. Officers were called just before 2.30pm on Tuesday, January 23 and when they arrived they found damage to a wall inside a property.
A spokesperson for the force said no injuries were reported. Now, a man has been charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.

Bradley O’Donohue, 24, of Yew Tree Road, Halewood, has been charged and remanded into custody to appear at Liverpool Magistrates Court on Wednesday, January 31. Anyone who has information about who is storing, carrying or using weapons is asked to contact @MerPolCC or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
Eyewitnesses reported a huge police presence around the area following the incident. An eyewitness said they saw “armed police around Camberley Drive, Arncliffe Road and Okell Drive plus the helicopter doing laps”.
They added police were seen searching the grounds of the Arncliffe Court Nursing Home, and “residents close by were being told to stay inside”. A second eyewitness reported a “helicopter, police van, ambulance and 12 police cars swarming the area”.
