Harris + Hoole will shut several branches that are in Tesco stores.
They will close in the coming weeks and months in more than 25 locations.
The coffee chain, owned by Caffè Nero, confirmed its contract will end with Tesco in the next week.
This means any branches still open in the supermarket chain will close.

A Harris + Hoole spokesperson said: “Harris + Hoole has a strong store opening and growth plan for 2023 and beyond, focused on standalone stores in locations which best appeal to our target customer market.
“Following the conclusion of our existing agreement with Tesco, both parties have decided to pursue separate strategies.
“The first of our new stores has already opened, with several more in the pipeline.
“We’re grateful for our partnership with Tesco and wish them well for the future.”

A coffee chain will close within Tesco stores

This follows a string of store closures from popular retailers across the country.
British coffee chain Costa Coffee shared a branch will close for good in February 2024.
Bruntsfield Place location in Edinburgh will stop trading, with plans to open more branches across the UK.
