Sir Jim Ratcliffe has reportedly set out five new rules that the manager of Manchester United will have to adhere to.
Doubt still remains over Erik ten Hag’s future despite the 54-year-old making one final case to keep his job after beating Manchester City to lift the FA Cup.
The likes of Roberto De Zerbi, Kieran McKenna, Thomas Frank, Thomas Tuchel and Mauricio Pochettino are part of the shortlist if Ten Hag departs.
As reported by The Sun, whoever comes through the door will have to follow strict rules set out by Ratcliffe as he continues to make dramatic changes after a dismal season.
It includes the new manager having to follow a style of play set out by new technical director Jason Wilcox.

New co-owner Ratcliffe also wants the manager to agree to a new recruitment model which will see five new players under the age of 25 come through the Old Trafford doors in a bid to make the team stronger, fitter and faster.
The British billionaire is keen to find gems rather than spend huge sums on already proven big names.
Recently asked if he will make a move for free agent Kylian Mbappe this summer, Ratcliffe told The Geraint Thomas Cycling Club podcast: ‘I’d rather find the next Mbappe than spend a fortune trying to buy success. It’s not that clever, is it, buying Mbappe, in a way?
‘Anyone could figure that one out. Much more challenging is to find the next Mbappe or Jude Bellingham or the next Roy Keane.’
Another order from Ratcliffe will be that the manager will be asked which areas he wants to strengthen rather than players he wants to sign.

The United board will then put forward a list of three names which the manager will pick from for each position.
