Sienna Miller Is A Master Of Stealthy Maternity Style

This year, Sienna Miller – who ignited the Noughties boho trend – has been embarking on a different kind of fashion journey. She’s entered the world of maternity style. The star is currently expecting her second child and, throughout the year, she has been experimenting with dressing for her pregnancy. In the process, she’s zeroed in on a stealthily chic aesthetic that puts an entirely fresh stamp on mum-to-be style.

Miller revealed her pregnancy at Vogue World in September, when she turned heads on the red carpet wearing a cropped white shirt and bubble skirt by Schiaparelli. While this was by no means discreet, it still felt modern and downright cool.

Since then, the star has rebuked the ideas that comfortable ensembles have to be unpolished. Last month, for instance, she attended the London launch of Vivere by Savannah Miller (her sister’s line) wearing a casual look, including a white button-up, flowy black maxi skirt, and tailored overcoat. It was both timeless and sleek. At a Haider Ackermann dinner in October, she also nailed cozy dressing in a brown polo-neck poncho dress that was roomy yet streamlined.

Earlier in the summer, meanwhile, she was spotted out in London exposing her baby bump: she rocked a cropped cardigan with a clingy floral-print skirt. (Bearing the bump – and celebrating it – is a new fashion moment that’s been embraced by fellow stars, like Rihanna). Motherhood is a beautiful thing, so we might as well have beautiful clothes to go with it.
