Shoppers at Morrisons, Asda and Waitrose urged not to eat items pulled from the shelves

Shoppers are being urged to check their cupboards, fridges and freezers after food products were recalled from various supermarkets.

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) issues recalls for a variety of reasons, including when products contain allergens that are not disclosed on the packaging or if metal or bacteria is detected in the item.

When a product is recalled, for any reason, the FSA shares details on what you should do if you have bought the item, as well as detailed information on why the item has been pulled from sale.

Anyone who has purchased an item can take it to their nearest store in exchange for a full refund. No receipt is necessary. Here is an ongoing list of the latest items being withdrawn from the shelves and the reasons why.

Morrisons

Morrisons are taking the precautionary action of extending their recall of The Best Taleggio because Listeria monocytogenes has been found in the product.

This product recall has been updated to include more ‘use by’ dates.
