Sarah Paulson and Holland Taylor looked more smitten than ever on Monday evening, as they attended the Second Stage Theater’s 2023 Fall Gala honoring Sarah at Cipriani Wall Street in New York.
The guest of honour, 48, was the picture of sophistication in a pale yellow leather dress decorated with a fruit pattern.
The actress added an extra few inches of height to her frame with a pair of pointed black high-heeled boots.
Sarah completed her elegant look by tucking her short locks behind her ears to show off her assortment of gold and diamond earrings.
Her partner Holland, 80, exuded class in a taupe textured blazer and a matching pair of grey satin trousers.
She boosted her height in a pair of matching silk kitten heels and added a floaty patterned scarf.
The Hollywood couple – who have been dating since 2015 – held hands as they posed together for the cameras.
The pair first met in 2005, but didn’t begin dating until a decade later after they reconnected over social media.
In an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen in January 2019, Sarah admitted Holland sneaked into her DMs after they began to follow each other on Twitter.
She recently gushed about her partner on the Dear Chelsea podcast with comedian Chelsea Handler in September.
Sarah said: ‘I think she’s the smartest, wisest, funniest, most extraordinary person I’ve ever met. So I can’t imagine not being with her. I just can’t.’
‘I just feel very, very lucky to be around someone so incredibly witty and funny and smart and, I think, incredibly sexy.’
‘I find her to be the most beautiful woman. I tell her all the time, like, she’s the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen and she always will be.’
She added: ‘She sort of pulls me out of my tendency to be anxious or sort of hysterical in doubting my own abilities. And she’s sort of constantly reminding me of how capable I am.’
But the Golden Globe winner added that Holland could use a taste of her own medicine, revealing: ‘She’s constantly saying to me, “Why are you with me? Why are you doing this? What are you doing? You’re a very strange person.”
‘She says all the time, “You’re very strange for doing this.” And I’m like, “really? Is it? I don’t know”.’
Also in attendance at the glitzy event were Betsy Wolfe, Zachary Quinto and Celia Keenan-Bolger.
Betsy turned heads in a bright blue silk suit, covered in a shiny animal print pattern, while flashing a glimpse of her black bra underneath.
Zachary looked handsome as ever in a brown checked suit with a black shirt, while Celia beamed in a white draped dress.
Leana Rae Concepcion stood out in a one-shouldered deep purple gown adorned with a structured ruffle.
Kate Baldwin dazzled in a busty strapless dress, embroidered with gold sequins in a leaf pattern, which boasted a high slit to show a glimpse of her long legs.
Micaela Diamond looked angelic in a flowing halter neck white dress, which she teamed with a metallic gold clutch.
Eden Espinosa pulled out the stops in a plunging black gown, encrusted in black and gold sequins in a houndstooth pattern.
Angela Trimbur and Tig Notaro complemented each other in black oversized blazers, while Angela teamed hers with a cream silk shirt and leather trousers.
Tig wore hers with a khaki green button-up shirt, smart black trousers and a pair of casual white trainers.
Corey Stoll looked dapper in a charcoal grey suit, with a light grey shirt underneath and a striped turquoise tie.
Sarah and Corey will be appearing in the previews for the Broadway debut of Appropriate this month, alongside Elle Fanning and Natalie Gold.
The play, which was written by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins, is centered on a dysfunctional family who returns to Arkansas in order to work out details regarding an inheritance from their late father.
