Samsung is unveiling the Galaxy Watch7 family along with the new Galaxy Watch Ultra at its next Unpacked event, taking place in Paris on July 10.
Today a new leak brings us purported pricing information for all the different variants in France. Since VAT differs across the EU, note that prices in other EU countries may vary ever so slightly.
With that in mind, let’s dive right in. The Galaxy Watch Ultra will be available in one 47mm version with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and 4G for €699. It will be offered in three colors: Titanium Grey, Titanium Silver, and Titanium White. And yes, the case is made out of titanium.
It measures 47.4 x 47.1 x 12.1 mm and weighs 60.5g. It has a 1.5-inch 480×480 Super AMOLED screen, the new Exynos W1000 chipset made on a 3nm process, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and a 590 mAh battery. It will run One UI 6 Watch from day one, based on Wear OS 5.
The Galaxy Watch7 will come in two sizes: 40 mm (40.4 x 40.4 x 9.7 mm in size and weighing 28.9g) and 44 mm (44.4 x 44.4 x 9.7 mm, 33.8g). Its case is made from aluminum. The smaller version has a 1.3″ 432×432 Super AMOLED screen, the larger one a 1.5-inch 480×480 display identical to that of the Ultra’s.
The 40mm has a 300 mAh battery, the 44mm model has a 425 mAh battery. These have the same chipset, RAM, and storage as the Galaxy Watch Ultra, so aside from battery life, the titanium case, and the extra water resistance (100m/10ATM vs. 50m/5ATM) it’s unclear why you’re paying so much more for that one.
Speaking of pricing, the Bluetooth+Wi-fi Galaxy Watch7 starts at €319 in 40mm and €349 in 44 mm and goes up to €369 (40mm) or €399 (44mm) if you add 4G LTE connectivity as well.
All of these watches are IP68 and MIL-STD-810H certified. They also all have Bluetooth 5.3, dual-band Wi-Fi, NFC, dual frequency GPS, and the same sensors.
