The S Club star, 45, revealed she had been busy beavering away at her soon to be released autobiography and gushed how excited she was to finally share a glimpse of the cover with her followers.
Rachel first announced the release of her memoir last year, just weeks after former bandmate Hannah Spearritt penned her own book titled Facing the Music.
As well as posting the cover of Rachel Stevens Finding My Voice, A Story of Strength Self-Belief and S Club, she also shared a sweet throwback snap with a message to her fans.
The mum-of-two wrote: ‘Hi all I know I’ve been really quiet on here for a while…It’s been full on to say the least!’
‘Thought I’d share this little throwback as over the past year I have been working hard on a very exciting and personal project’.
‘I’ve literally been either in mum mode or writing mode and its been a lot but it’s nearly there!! Eek. Can’t wait to share my story with you all , sending much love’.
It comes after her bandmate Hannah, 42, decided not to join S Club on their tour and admitted she doesn’t know if she will ever sing with the band again.
She had drafting in lawyers after her sudden exit from the group’s reunion tour following the tragic death of ex bandmate and boyfriend Paul Cattermole.
And in a bid to boost her finances after a year of instability – including a brief stint where she was homeless – Hannah in a bold move has shifted the release of her book date to coincide with the start of S Club’s reunion tour.
When first announcing the news last year Rachel wrote: ‘Hi everyone. I am SO excited to finally announce that behind the scenes, I’ve been working on a brand new, very personal project… I’ve written my first-ever book!
‘FINDING MY VOICE: A Story of Strength, Self-Belief and S Club 7 will publish on the 25th April next year.
‘There’s so much I haven’t had the confidence to share before now. I can’t wait to let you in and share my story with you all. You can pre order now using the link in my bio.’
It comes after the singer announced her split from her husband Alex in July 2022 after almost 13 years of marriage.
In November 2023, Rachel went Instagram official with her Dancing On Ice boyfriend Brendyn Hatfield as she paid tribute to her S Club 7 bandmates and fans.
The singer took to the social media platform to share backstage moments from the group’s ongoing Good Times Tour.
The post featuring Brendyn also had Rachel’s two children, Amelie, 12 and Minnie, nine, along with her friends.
Rachel, who came second place in season six of Strictly Come Dancing, also posed with her manager Benji Rom.
Rachel and Brendyn first met on Dancing On Ice in 2022, as he was Rachel’s partner.
They unfortunately among the first couples to be eliminated, leaving the competition in Week 4, however they didn’t allow that to sour their relationship.
A source said: ‘Rachel had a really great friendship and partnership with Brendyn and it keeps developing…she wasn’t expecting to find love again at this stage in her life but she’s feeling positive about what’s to come and hopeful about a new start.’
The S Club 7 star took to her Instagram Stories to let her fans of her split from alex, the father of her two daughters.
Writing: ‘I just wanted to share with you all that after time and consideration the difficult decision has been made for Alex and I to separate.
‘While we are no longer partners in marriage, we will remain partners in parenthood to our beautiful girls and continue with love and respect for each other.
‘I feel so incredibly grateful for the life we built together and will now continue to be focused on moving forward united as a family.’
Rachel and Alex, who were childhood sweethearts, married at Claridge’s in London in 2009.
The pair walked down the aisle to S Club 7’s hit Never Had A Dream Come True and her bandmates – Bradley McIntosh, Hannah Spearritt, Jo O’Meara, Jon Lee, Paul Cattermole and Tina Barrett – were there to watch them say ‘I do’.
