Rylan Clark has declared his love for a Strictly Come Dancing pro after they enjoyed a night out at a Girls Aloud concert together.

The telly favourite, 35, was spotted living it up in London on Tuesday evening, where he joined celebs like Graham Norton and Denise van Outen and made sure to bust some moves at the gig.

Strictly star Amy Dowden, who’s bravely battled cancer and recently announced her comeback for the 2024 series, was also there. Following tough treatment, she joyfully revealed in April that she was given the all-clear by doctors.

Amy, 33, took to social media to post a selfie with Rylan from the event, captioning it: “Loved spending time with this one last night! Such a gorgeous human inside [and] out”. Rylan re-shared the snap on his Instagram, affectionately writing: “You beauty. Love u xxx”.

This heartwarming exchange comes just as Rylan debuted a more natural look, ditching his trademark dark hair for a softer style, which led fans to liken him to Hollywood’s Zac Efron. The star stripped back his hair colour and went makeup-free, prompting Jedward to comment: “It’s giving Troy Bolton from High School Musical ya wild cat,” reports the Liverpool Echo.

Kate Garraway chimed in with support, saying: “I LOVE this colour! Keep it”, while Rob Rinder added: “Natural beauty. Everything else is just detail.”

It comes after Rylan firmly stated that he will never participate as a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing, revealing that “the answer is no”. He said it wouldn’t be fair for him to compete, despite receiving numerous offers to take to the dancefloor and battle it out for the Glitterball trophy.

As reported by the Daily Star’s Hot TV column, Rylan explained: “It wouldn’t be fair for me to go back and compete. It would be the same as if I went back into ‘Celebrity Big Brother ‘. It wouldn’t be fair.”
