* The Gunns regained control but then Joe got a hot tag. Joe went for a muscle buster but MJF tagged himself in and tried to hit his own muscle buster but was unsuccessful. MJF recovered and went for a kangaroo kick but Joe tagged himself back in.
* The Gunns managed to hit Joe with 310 to Yuma but MJF broke up the pin. The Gunns tried to hit the move again but Adam Cole came out on crutches and while The Gunns were distracted, Joe applied a submission and scored the victory.

* After the match, Joe left but The Gunns continued to attack MJF while Cole could do nothing but watch. The Gunns used a chair to target MJF’s knee. Officials came down to ringside with a stretcher and MJF was rolled out on it. MJF yelled “please don’t let them take my title” to Cole as he was placed into an ambulance.
