Struggling to put a painful split behind you?
Pop singer Paloma Faith, 42, shared with her fans on Thursday that she has a very modern, seven-point ‘break-up survival guide’ to follow, after the collapse of her own marriage to French artist Leyman Lahcine.
The advice includes: ‘Make sure you block them on all social media’ and put on a ‘full look’ every day.
In an Instagram video that she shared with her 748k followers, the hitmaker could be seen lying in a bath, in a black lace dress.
She captioned the video: ‘How to survive a breakup. Live from my bath for some reason.’
Wearing her signature red lipstick on, she explained: ‘Number one: block that b**tches number. Number two: make sure you block them on all social media.
‘Number three: I want you to be putting on a full look everyday. You need to empower yourself, dress up, put your make-up on, feel fly, always.’
Having penned lyrics about her marital breakdown on her new album, she added: ‘Number four: Turn your suffering into wealth – do something creative, sell it, I don’t care what it is, make some cupcakes, some friendship bands with sad – whatever, just turn that into money.’
Paloma then revealed that she paid for a billboard at the end of her ex’s road to be plastered with her image.
She said: ‘Number five: If you can, put a billboard at the end of his road. I’ve actually done this, so I hope that he looked at me every day and was, like, s***.’
Continuing the sound advice, the Only Love Can Hurt Like This singer told her fans: ‘Number six: make sure you stay busy, stay active and be out and about with your friends.
‘Lastly number seven: don’t start a rebound lover. I promise you it will backfire.’
The singer and mother-of-two married the French artist, 36, in 2017, and is preparing to release her sixth album.
The pair confirmed their split in August after rumours began swirling of their separation in November. She has since moved on with new boyfriend Andrew Soar.
Fans flooded her comment section with responses, with one even calling her out as an icon.
One wrote: ‘Billboard at the end of his road is the evil genius I need in my life. Well played.’
A second penned: ‘Queen behaviour’
A third said: ‘This new era is giving me LIFEEEE. Slay queen SLAYYY’ whilst a fourth wrote: ‘Amen, gurl’.
This isn’t the first time the singer had shared her top tips on dealing with a breakup.
In a hilarious video posted to Instagram at the beginning of October, she announced: ‘Hello, ladies, gadies and theydies, this is how you leave a man.’
Paloma then marched up to the front door before opening the letter box and screaming through it.
‘You a****** I never want to see you again! Get out of my life for good. Don’t expect anything back.
‘You are dead to me!’ she shouted before smiling and walking away.
The musician captioned the funny update: ‘Paloma Faith’s tips on How You Leave A Man in the most dignified and tranquil way possible.’
