Another 1,000 passionate members of the Amber Army will get the chance to back the Exiles against Wrexham and Manchester United with the erection of a temporary stand behind the North Terrace.
Construction of the uncovered stand will get underway tomorrow afternoon (Wednesday) in time for the League Two clash with Wrexham on Saturday after the Welsh derby sold out last week.
It will remain in place for the Emirates FA Cup fourth round tie against Premier League Manchester United on Sunday, January 28 (4.30pm).
While the additional ticket sales will only just cover the costs of erecting the stand for the two games, the club felt it was important to offer as many people as possible from the local community the opportunity to sample big game football at Rodney Parade – and help build momentum for the future.
The club is also adding an additional 400 seats to the away stand to meet the FA’s allocation guidelines for the Manchester United tie. The seats will remain in place for the League Two games against Wrexham, Swindon and Notts County to cover costs.
Tickets in the new North Stand for Saturday’s clash with Wrexham will be on sale from 10am tomorrow morning (Wednesday, January 17).
They are priced at £24 adult; £20 seniors; £18 young adult (16-21); £12 under-16; £10 under-12; Free for under-6.
Supporters are encouraged to purchase online HERE to avoid large queues at the ticket office or via phone. Those purchasing online can print their ticket at home or use their mobile phone to present their confirmation email (ticket barcode) at the turnstile on matchday. Simples!
