Everton full-back Ashley Young will turn his hand to punditry by being a guest on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football.
The 38-year-old will make an appearance in the studio before and after the Premier League game between Crystal Palace and Manchester United. Coverage starts at 6.30pm on Sky Sports Premier League. Young will be joined by former Liverpool player Jamie Carragher on the Monday Night Football panel covering the Premier League clash.
After signing on a free transfer from Aston Villa in the summer, Young’s experience has been valuable for Everton this season. He has been a regular starter under Sean Dyche as the team secured their place in the Premier League this season despite being deducted a total of eight points.

Having signed a one-year contract at Goodison Park last summer, Young could leave the club on a free transfer at the end of the season if he is not offered a new deal. Speaking back in February, the defender revealed that he plans to continue playing beyond this season.
On potentially staying with Everton he said: “That is down to the club when they want to sit down and talk to me about it. For me, it is just playing games and getting to the next game.”
When asked if he would like to keep Young at the club following the 1-0 win over Brentford last week, manager Dyche remained coy. “We are open to all sorts of things at the moment with all sorts of players,” he said. “There are varying situations and over the coming weeks, we’ll be looking at what we can do.”
If Young does not extend his stay at Everton then his final game will come on Sunday 19 May when the Toffees travel to the Emirates Stadium to take on title-chasing Arsenal. Before that, Everton finish their home campaign with the visit of Sheffield United on Saturday.
