Neighbourhood Watch…on Jordan! Locals in sleepy Sussex village warn star ‘not to throw any wild parties’ and ‘to keep herself to herself’ as bankrupt influencer moves into new home

Locals in a sleepy Sussex village have warned Katie Price ‘not to throw any wild parties’.

They said they hope the bankrupt glamour model will ‘keep herself to herself’ when she moves into her new home next month.

One new neighbour, who asked not to be named, said: ‘She’s a bit older now, so maybe she’s calmed down a bit? As long as there are no wild parties going on into the night, we’re ok with it.’

Another neighbour who did not want to be named said: ‘As long as she keeps herself to herself, I’m fine with it.’

But Barbara and Jacob, who live across the road with their young children, were excited to see another star move in next to them.

Barbara said: ‘It’s quite sleepy here but it’s a very nice place to live. Having Katie Price here might liven it up a bit. I’m sure there will be lots of interest in her.’

Building work at the home Katie hopes to set up after leaving the Mucky Mansion will not be finished until mid June.

The land at Katie’s new place was sold to developers three years ago and building work on the four bedroom home started earlier this year.

Katie Price is also moving in next to a nun – or at least an actress famous for playing one, MailOnline can reveal.

The notorious model – who herself has dressed as a nun for photoshoots – will be soon be living almost nextdoor to veteran actress Judy Parfitt whose most famous part was playing Sister Monica Joan in Call the Midwife.

Ms Parfitt will be Katie’s neighbour when she moves into her new home next month.

She said: ‘She’s entitled to live anywhere she likes. I hope she’ll be very happy.’

MailOnline can also reveal that Price’s new house had run into local objections before it was even built.

It was built on land that was previously part of a back garden before being sold onto a development firm.

When they applied for permission to develop it, several neighbours objected to the plans on the grounds that they’d narrow a communal driveway and require a leylandii to be cut back.

One wrote: ‘The disruption this will cause to our day to day lives is massive. We have two young children and are seriously concerned for there safety if the build commences.

‘We need constant access to and from our property during the day, and do not see how this is possible through such a tight driveway.

‘The aggravation to our day to day life will be an added stress and a large inconvenience.’

A second added: ‘The existing barrier between ourselves and the land proposed for this development is a ‘dense row of leylandii’ which actually helps massively with maintaining our peaceful outlook and keeps noise and disturbance to a minimum.

‘The design and access statement has us extremely concerned, particularly with reference to the leylandii being ‘considerably cropped”.

Katie has wasted no time moving in to her new pad as removal vans were seen arriving at the sprawling estate on Tuesday.

Three large removal trucks were pictured on the driveway, while workers started loading them with furniture.

Explaining the situation, the former glamour model, 46, shared on Instagram: ‘Due to acid attack on my car at my house I’ve now been advised by authorities not to stay at Mucky Mansion anymore’.

An insider told The Sun: ‘Katie has been dreading this day for so long but now it is here, she can’t wait to leave.

‘The house has caused her so much grief and was too much to handle on her own. With work and the kids it all became too much in recent years. And she’s convinced it’s haunted.’

Katie confirmed for the first time on Thursday that she’s finally moving out after she was served an eviction notice to leave the property.

But Katie has now revealed that she is looking forward to leaving the house after taking to Instagram on Sunday to share a video of her car covered in splatters of a substance which has eroded the paint.

On Thursday, Katie revealed she will soon be collecting the keys for a new home and denied recent reports she was looking to move her family into a caravan.

After nine years, Katie says she ‘can’t wait’ to relocate and admits, ‘I’ve had nothing but bad memories in that house’, insisting moving will be the start of a new chapter in her life.

The former glamour model, who’s currently in a relationship with Married At First Sight UK contestant JJ Slater, 30, was declared bankrupt for a second time in March over an unpaid tax bill of £761,994.05.

Speaking about the West Sussex property, branded the ‘Mucky Mansion’ because of its constant state of disrepair, Katie said: ‘I absolutely hate the Mucky Mansion, even how it’s been called the Mucky Mansion because of all the stuff that happened there before.

‘I can’t wait to get out of that house I’ve had nothing but bad memories in that house for nine years.

‘I hate the Mucky Mansion, I never want to see it again and I can’t wait to move into my new place, I am so excited. New beginnings, new start, reset button, I love it.

‘But don’t worry, I’ll be featuring my new house on my YouTube channel when I get the keys and welcoming you to my new house, I can’t wait, I just want to get rid of all the bad stuff in the past and have a fresh start.

‘Although I would love a big caravan, it wouldn’t fit us all in so it’s definitely not a caravan I’m moving into.’

Katie, who’s a mother to Harvey Price, 21, as well as Junior, 18, and Princess, 16, who she shares with Peter Andre and Jett, 10, and Bunny, nine, from her relationship with Kieran Hayler, was first declared bankrupt in 2019.

In March, she became bankrupt for a second time after she failed to pay her taxes, saying the reason she has debts is because she went through a ‘breakdown.’

Speaking on the Stripping Off podcast with Matt Haycox, Katie said she wasn’t even aware of the second bankruptcy, insisting, ‘I will pay it, but it just has to be when I’ve got it.’

She said: ‘Yeah, you should always pay your tax, this and that. But obviously, I went through a breakdown so then I didn’t pay tax and that’s sort of where the bankruptcy thing has come from.’

Katie has been given until June 26 to leave the Mucky Mansion, which became the subject of a Channel 4 documentary when she attempted to install life back into the property for the last time.
