EA’s Star Wars Battlefront 2 returns to chart of most popular Xbox games
At the top of our Xbox Chart, it’s all pretty static, with the usual Fortnite, Call of Duty, and Minecraft battling it out for first place. In fact, not much has changed until we leave the top 15. Here we see Palworld still holding its own against some massive AAA games, and Dead Island 2 stick one foot in the grave and stumble from last week’s lofty ninth-place position to 17th.
The Finals has seen a big boost up the chart, thanks to Season 2 kicking off on March 14. The free-to-play shooter has jumped up ten positions and sits in 28th place.
At the bottom of the chart, things start to get a bit interesting: Fallout 4 has returned to the table in 38th place. Fallout 4’s reappearance is likely due to Amazon dropping a new trailer for the Fallout TV series. The TV show looks pretty faithful to Bethesda’s games, and it’s probably inspired fans to return to the RPG.
We also have EA’s Star Wars Battlefront II in 39th place, having last featured in the chart nine months ago. It appears that Xbox players are sticking with EA’s shooter following the rough launch of Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection. Players have been complaining about all sorts of issues with the remaster, including server issues, bad controls, and of course, one unobtainable Xbox achievement. As for the Classic Collection itself, it’s nowhere to be seen in the top 40 — in fact, it’s not even in the top 200 most popular Xbox games, according to our data.
