Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright have showed off the very lavish Christmas decorations at their Essex £3.5m mansion.
Former TOWIE star Mark, 36, took to the couple’s home Instagram account on Sunday to show off an over-the-top Kardashian-style tree in the grand foyer.
The Kardashian family are well known for going all out with festive touches at their huge LA homes.
The clips also showed extravagant decorations, which included hundreds of outdoor lights and lights up the sweeping staircase.
The Georgian-style windows of their home were framed in fairy lights, as well as the guttering on the roof and a floral arch around the doorway.
The expansive driveway had been decorated with light-up reindeer and Christmas trees, while a shining wreath was the centre piece of the display.
Mark penned in the caption: ‘Christmas 2023 has begun. My Scouse fam @4.seasonevents have smashed it again.
‘Outside and inside Christmas heaven!! P.s the presents are fake…. We are not that organized!’
The couple had similar extravagant decorations last year, as they shared a snow-covered snap to their social media account in December 2022.
They moved into their new build home in September 2022 and have been sharing each step of the way with their followers.
In 2020 Mark and Michelle purchased a mock-Tudor house and knocked it down before rebuilding the vast home which stands today.
The build and renovations took around two years and over the past couple of months they have been adding the finishing touches.
Last month, they revealed one of the ‘hardest’ decorating decisions they have had to make so far.
Posting an update on their home interiors account, the couple revealed they had a dilemma over what shade of cream to paint the key rooms in their home.
The couple were teased by fans for the difficult decision, with many pleading with the pair to ‘add some colour into your lives’.
The post featured a series of photos of the chic, minimalist living space, as the caption detailed their decision to go neutral.
‘Who agrees, one of the hardest things to choose when doing up a house, is wall colours. It seems so simple,’ read the lengthy caption.
‘Once getting the colour home or ordering online and it arriving, it can look so different.’
‘We wanted a warm off white/cream and we were lucky enough that first go was perfect. We used this colour in our lounge, dining room, plus 2 bedrooms and couldn’t be happier. It is called: Calla G503 from @tikkurila_uk.’
Fans flooded the comments section with their critique of the finished room, with one asking: ‘All the house is that colour isn’t it. I would love to go in their and sprinkle some colour.’
‘So beige, get some colour in your life’ agreed another, while another pointed out: ‘I wish all I had to worry, stress about was what colour to paint my walls.’
Others though praised the couples chic design decisions with one fan commenting: ‘I think this is pure class, its stunning!’
During their years of renovations the couple have frequently shared their journey, from original architect designs to choosing the right marble for their kitchen surfaces, on their @wrightyhome Instagram account – which has amassed 570,000 followers.
Michelle and Mark finally moved into their home in August after years of building work – and ensured they arrived in style with a lavish housewarming party.
They completed work on their home, an impressive £3.5million rebuild located in Wright’s beloved home county almost four years after embarking on the ambitious project.
The couple purchased the land for £1.3million in 2019.
They have since been focusing on interior and exterior embellishments, among them the landscaping of its spacious grounds and a variety of decorative touches to its numerous rooms.
Sharing footage of an open plan seating area adjacent to the entrance hall, the former TOWIE cast-member said they were at loggerheads over whether or not to close it off.
He said: ‘We have a massive decision with this house – do we have doors here, or not? I think it looks better when you walk in and you see all the way through, but Michelle’s point of view is that when you’re on the couch it feels more homely if you shut yourself in a bit. ‘
Mark eventually conceded his wife managed to get her own way by sharing footage of glass paned double-doors sealing off what used to be an open walk-through.
And the TV personality admitted he was already won over, telling followers: ‘I don’t mind it! I think the missus, as always, was right on this one. That has literally changed the game.’
