Michelle Dockery and her husband Jasper Waller-Bridge looked in great spirts as the pair beamed side by side at the BFI Fellowship at the BFI Chairman’s Dinner in London on Wednesday.
Actress Michelle, 42, looked incredible as she arrived to the event held, at The Rosewood Hotel, donning a red midi dress.
The pair, who are rarely seen out and about together, grinned for the camera as they posed with their arms around each other.
Michelle and Jasper, who is the brother of Fleabag creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge, tied the knot last September in a London wedding surrounded by her Downtown Abbey co-stars.
Enjoying a night out together, the period drama star showcased her jaw-dropping figure in the skin tight garment while she added height to her frame with a pair of black heels.
Letting her brunette locks fall loose down her shoulders, Michelle complimented her outfit with a pair of gold hoop earrings.
Meanwhile film producer Jasper cut a dapper figure in black suit and open collared white shirt.
Cillian Murphy, Kenneth Branagh also attended the event as Cillian, 47, smartened up in a grey suit with a white shirt.
Christopher also wore a dark grey suit as he posed for the cameras alongside his wife Emma Thomas.
Meanwhile, Tom Hiddleston and Zawe Ashton put on a loved-up display as they attended the dinner together.
Michelle and Jasper met through mutual friends in 2019 and soon after they spent time together at the Rome film festival.
The star was understood to be friends with her new husband’s older sister, and the two stars crossed paths when they both spent time in Los Angeles over the summer.
In January 2022 she and Jasper announced they were to married in an announcement in The Times newspaper.
The wedding was a poignant day for Michelle who was left heartbroken in 2015 when her fiancé, Irish publicist John Dineen, died following a 15-month battle against a rare form of cancer aged 34.
Michelle said the pair were ‘married at heart’ as she shared at the time: ‘I refer to myself as a widow, yes. We were engaged, and married at heart, and so I do consider myself a widow.
‘That’s the first time I’ve said that, and it’s a bit of a relief to say so.’
Michelle also spoke about the devastation she felt when John was diagnosed and when he passed away.
In 2017, she said: ‘I don’t have the vocabulary to describe what it felt like.
‘And what it still feels like. It is … sorry, give me a minute. I’ve never been more committed to anything in my life than to him.
‘So at the time everything just shut down. Work, everything. Work didn’t matter. You suddenly become an [oncological] expert. This stuff becomes your world, and that of course was my priority.’
