McDonald’s has released its latest menu, which features a new wrap, three desserts and its first-ever food collaboration.
Along with the two sweet treats, The fast food chain announced a partnership with the hot sauce manufacturer Frank’s RedHot, which is a fan favourite in the US, for its new McSpicy burger.
The new items will be available in McDonald’s branches throughout the UK and Ireland from today for a limited time.
These are The Breakfast Wrap, the McSpicy x Frank’s RedHot, the Raspberry and White Chocolate Pie, the KitKatRuby Chocolate McFlurry and the KitKat Milk Chocolate McFlurry.
Arguably the most anticipated item on the menu is the new McSpicy, which is a chicken burger will be served with lettuce, Emmental cheese, jalapenos, onions and Frank’s RedHot Mayo in a sesame seed bun.
You can get your hands on the new McSpicy® x Frank’s RedHot on its own for £5.59 or as a meal for £7.29.
However, due to its status as a limited edition menu item, it will only be available to purchase for six weeks while stocks last.
Thomas O’Neil, Head of Menu at McDonald’s UK and Ireland, said: ‘We know how much our customers love spice, and were blown away by the reaction to the McSpicy since it first launched as a limited-edition back in July 2021, growing to a permanent resident on our main menu.’
‘This collaboration with Frank’s RedHot gave us such an exciting opportunity to build on an already iconic product and create something genuinely spicy but also delicious that we know both McDonald’s and Frank’s RedHot customers will love. We’re really looking forward to seeing the reaction’.
Moving onto the desserts, the KitKatRuby Chocolate McFlurry consists of a soft dairy ice cream swirled with Ruby Chocolate covered KitKat pieces and wafer bites, topped with a pink raspberry sauce.
There is an offering without raspberry sauce, as well as the warm Raspberry and White Chocolate Pie, which is a crispy pink pastry filled with a white chocolate ganache and a raspberry compote.
Other items returning to the menu include the Big Tasty with Bacon and Mozzarella Dippers with Salsa Dip, which are also available in a larger box to share.
