Together, they hosted The BRITs’ Red Carpet show for ITV2 last year – and will now take centre stage on the main BRITs show this March to lead viewers watching from home and those in the arena through the awards presentations.
It was also announced on Tuesday that Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding will perform at the event.
Their Instagram page made the announcement as they penned: ‘@calvinharris and @elliegoulding will be performing at the #BRITs 2024!’
Other live performances will be from artists including Becky Hill X Chase & Status, Dua Lipa, Jungle, Kylie Minogue, RAYE and Rema.
On hosting the event Clara said: ‘This is such a bucket list job for me and I am genuinely overjoyed and honoured to be doing it.’
Maya added: ‘It’s been a dream since I was a teenager, so I’m super over the moon…
‘The BRITs was the last goal that I had to tick off my 19 year old list for presenting. Gonna have to come up with new goals!’
Roman also said: ‘When they told me, I cried. The BRITs has always been on this pedestal for me, because in terms of excitement in the UK, there is nothing like it.’

Maya said of her hosting role: ‘It’s been a dream since I was a teenager, so I’m super over the moon…’
Maya also recalled of her earliest memories of the BRITs: ‘I was definitely that kid who would stand next to the TV and watch with excitement, doing all the moves.
‘I was always a fan – Mariah Carey was my favourite artist in the world. Busted, I cried when they broke up. They were my G.O.A.Ts!’
Clara added: ‘The ritual of sitting down with my brothers to watch it and the vital chatter about performances at school the next day!’
The trio also revealed what advice they have been given from former hosts of the event as Roman said: ‘I spoke to Ant & Dec and they said it was the hardest show they’d ever had to do.
‘But there’s a masochist side to me that really wants to experience that. That’s what it’s about; putting your head above the parapet sometimes and if it scares you, that’s good.’
He added: I spoke to Jack [Whitehall] about how to play it. Comedians do different things, [but] we’ve got something they didn’t have.
‘We each bring our own vibe to the table, Maya knows all these cool celebrities, she’s mates with Idris Elba, and Clara is this incredible muso whose knowledge is just out of this world. My presenting style [is] a horrific tale of self deprecation.’
On the plan of action for the night and battling her nerves Maya added: ‘I do try not to get nervous, I want to live in the moment, focus, and not worry about what’s happening next.
‘Everyone’s been coming up with ideas, jotting down what we want from it. In my brain, I’m telling myself, ‘This will be something to show my grandkids, so don’t mess it up!’
It comes after last week two-time BRITs Dance Act winner Becky Hill and trailblazing electronic music duo Chase & Status were announced be performing together at this year’s event.
The chart-topping acts will team up for the performance at London’s O2 on March 2, and are also both nominated for gongs.
Becky is nominated for the third consecutive year for Dance Act, which she won in 2022 and 2023, whilst Chase & Status are shortlisted for Group of the Year for the second time, having first been nominated in this category in 2012.
Becky, who performed at The BRITs in 2023 alongside David Guetta, said: ‘I can’t wait to perform again on the BRITs and it’s been difficult trying to top flying from the ceiling of the O2 last year, but I’m excited about what we have planned for this year’s performance.’
‘I’ve been a fan of Chase & Status my whole life, so to have them on stage performing with me is going to be really special. It’s a real celebration of drum & bass – my favourite genre of music!’
Chase & Status said: ‘For us as producers and artists, being nominated for a BRIT is a special thing. It is a representation of where British music is at, at the highest level, so to be in that category is an honour.
