Matthew McConaughey gave fans a rare glimpse at his and wife Camila Alves’ only daughter Vida this week.
The Academy Award-winner, 54, took to Instagram on Thursday to share a sweet tribute to Vida the day after her 14th birthday.
He included two beautiful photos of Video that he’d taken while spending time outdoors near their $6million Texas home.
Vida looked like the spitting image of her mother with the same button nose, brown eyes and curly brunette hair.
‘To Vida, who never passed a flower she didn’t pick, Happy Birthday,’ the father-of-three captioned.

He then provided a hilarious explanation as to why his tribute to Vida — who was born on January 3, 2010 — came a day late.
Matthew wrote: ‘*A day late because my mobile device flew out of my pocket on the roller coaster loop at her birthday yesterday!*’
The epic celebration was held at Six Flags amusement park in San Antonio, Texas on Wednesday, according to Matthew and Camila’s eldest son Levi, 15.
The teen shared a photo of his little sister screaming with her hands in the air while riding a rollercoaster.
Despite the massive drop, Levi looked stoic while seated behind Vida.
‘Waited to post because we spent yesterday doing one of my sister’s favorite things!’ Levi wrote, adding: ‘Happy 14th Vida!’
Along with Levi and Vida, Matthew and Camila also share 11-year-old Livingston.
Livingston rang in his 11th birthday just days before Vida’s on Friday, December 29.
And Matthew made sure to honor his youngest son’s special day with an Instagram post.

Both Matthew and Camila have made it a point to keep their children off social media, except when it comes to major milestones.
And a birthday was the perfect exception as Matthew shared a candid snap of himself lying on a couch with Livingston smiling in his lap in his tribute.
‘Double one’s, we love watching you grow,’ the Dallas Buyer’s Club star wrote Thursday. ‘Thanks for puttin so many smiles on our faces. love. Papa’s.
Later, Camila gushed over Livingston’s impact on their lives after reading their eldest son Levi’s sweet words to his brother.
Levi had shared seven photos of himself, Livingstone and Vida, which Camila reposted on her own Instagram.
‘Happy 11th lil bro, you’re growing up so fast! #happybirthday,’ Levi captioned.
Four hours later, Camila praised her eldest for the ‘great post’ honoring Livingston after trying to come up with the words herself.
‘Well… When your oldest son has such a great post for his little brothers birthday, I give up coming up with my own! re-posting it!’ the Brazilian model explained.
‘Today we celebrate, our youngest, turning 11!!! He bring so much joy and learnings to our lives. It is hard to put into words!!’

Alves, a native of Itambacuri, Minas Gerais, Brazil, first met McConaughey in 2006, which ultimately led to them getting married in a private Catholic wedding ceremony on June 13, 2012, in Austin, Texas.
McConaughey, a native of Uvalde, Texas, had his breakout role with a supporting performance in the coming-of-age comedy Dazed and Confused (1993).
After a number of supporting roles, his first success as a leading man came in the legal drama A Time to Kill (1996).
Since then his career soared with roles in such films as Contact (1997), U-571 (2000), The Wedding Planner (2001), How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (2003), Failure To Launch (2006), Fool’s Gold (2008), Ghosts Of Girlfriends Past (2009), Magic Mike (2012), Dallas Buyers Club (2013), Interstellar (2014), as well as season one of True Detective (2014).
As for Alves, she moved from Brazil to New York City in 2002, when she was 19, to pursue a career as a fashion model.
She ended up gracing the pages and covers of many of the top fashion magazines before fate came into play and she met McConaughey four years after her move to Manhattan.
The mother of three has also co-written a children’s book, Just Try One Bite, with Adam Mansbach that landed on the New York Times Best Seller list after it was released in March 2022.
