A Married At First Sight star has launched a furious tirade at QLD premier Annastacia Palaszczuk after her resignation over the weekend.
Hayley Vernon, who starred in season seven of the reality TV show, thought it was a good time to slam the outgoing premier over her state’s strict border control policies during Covid lockdowns.
Vernon shared a post capturing newspaper headlines written during that period, including stories written about tragic deaths caused in part to border control.
Vernon, 35, also shared a quote from Palaszczuk: ‘I have given it my all and I have run a marathon’.
The reality TV bride didn’t mince her words when she shared her thoughts about Palaszczuk’s Covid directives.

‘Insane! How did the majority fold to this bulls**t. It honestly still makes my blood boil,’ she ranted.
Palaszczuk, 54, who announced her resignation as QLD premier over the weekend and will exit the role on Friday, took a strict approach to border control during the height of the pandemic.
One of her more controversial policies during 2021 was refusing to let people cross the border into Queensland until they were double dose vaccinated.

Vernon has developed a reputation for sharing her controversial opinions, and last month posted a vicious rant to social media about parents bringing their ‘unruly children’ to ‘nice’ restaurants.
Conceding her sentiments were not ‘going to go down well,’ the 35-year-old wrote, ‘when mum and dad are getting p***ed and there’s a menace to society banging a plastic hammer against a table to the point I can’t hear the person next to me, enough is enough.’
‘There’s honestly a time and a place and the place isn’t high end designer venues or using toys as a baby sitter while you get p***ed.’

‘I may never have kids, if I do I for one would never let someone else’s experience be tainted by them,’ Hayley continued.
The star concluded her rant, ‘I wouldn’t let my dog do the s**t your kids are doing, yet if she did those things these same people would kick up a fuss…’
However based on Vernon’s posts, it appears she wasn’t actually in a restaurant when the alleged incident occurred, but in a Yves Saint Laurent clothing store that gave her a glass of sparkling wine.
She admitted to leaving without buying anything because ‘kids screaming like devils’ in the store upset her.
