A manhunt is underway after a woman in her 30s was killed in Salford, the Manchester Evening News understands. A murder investigation has been launched following an incident in the early hours of this morning (November 10).
It’s understood the woman was killed on Dukesgate Grove, in Little Hulton. Eyewitnesses reported seeing police arrive on the scene at around 3am today.
The M.E.N. understands the victim suffered multiple stab wounds. Dukesgate Grove has been cordoned off throughout the morning, with drivers and pedestrians unable to pass the scene.

Two tents have been placed in the street while forensics are working in the area. Officers appear to be focused on one particular house as their investigation takes place.
Our reporter at the scene has said: “A large cordon has been set up and two tents are in place. Forensic officers appear to be working on a scene at a house here on Dukesgate Grove which is behind a cordon. Only residents are able to access the road.
“Two CSI vans are parked outside a house here on Dukesgate Grove and forensic officers appear to be coming in and out of a property.”
