A major road into Liverpool city centre has been closed this morning due to a crash involving two cars.
The incident happened at the traffic lights near the junction of Leeds Street and Vauxhall Road just after 6.20am.
Two fire engines and three police cars are at the scene dealing with the aftermath of the crash.

A spokesperson for Merseyside Police confirmed the incident just after 6.20am and people suffered minor injuries.
