A young woman has died following a single-vehicle road crash, say the PSNI.
Lydia Ross, 21, from the Ballymoney area, is said to have sustained serious injuries in the collision involving a blue Peugeot 207 in the Curragh Road area of Aghadowey, Co Derry, shortly after 10.15pm on Thursday, December 28.
Police said she was taken to hospital for treatment, but “but sadly passed away from her injuries”.

They added that enquiries are ongoing and have urged anyone with information to come forward.
A PSNI spokesperson added: “Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information, including dash-cam, CCTV or other footage, is asked to contact Police on 101, quoting reference number 1887 of 28/12/23.
“Alternatively, you can submit a report online using the non-emergency reporting form via http://www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/.”
