A ticketholder has just scooped a life-changing £201million from one of the biggest EuroMillions jackpots prizes in the draw’s history.
The lucky winner is now as rich as some major celebrities, such as Ed Sheeran and Rod Stewart, who have an estimated fortunes of around £200 million.
They are also richer than Sarah Jessica Parker, who is thought to be worth around £159 million.
According to lottery officials, someone in Austria managed to bag the impressive top prize.
The winning sum will now drop back down to £14 million for next week’s draw.
According to the National Lottery, there are as many as five winners of the second highest prize, which is a cool £1,191,020.20.
The Lottery told The Mirror that three of the winners are ticket holders located in the UK.
To win a slice of the cash, your ticket would have to match five main numbers and a lucky star.
Tonight’s National Lottery EuroMillions winning numbers are: 17, 30, 42, 48, 50. The Lucky Stars are: 04, 08.
So far, there have been a total of 14 Brits that have managed to win upwards of £100 million over the years.
The bumper prize pips the current record of £195m which was won by a mystery Brit in 2022.
If they were in the UK, the winner would have become one of the nation’s 1,000 richest people, with a higher net worth than stars like Robbie Williams and Sir Tom Jones.
They could buy four Caribbean islands, with a few million to spare, or the equivalent of 11 six-bedroom luxury properties in London’s Hyde Park.
Alternatively, they could snap up a fleet of 500 Rolls Royce Phantoms.
Joe and Jess from Thwaite, Gloucestershire, won £184million on EuroMillions in May 2022.
The pair, who have been married for 11 years, said they wanted to go public because they did not want to put the ‘burden’ of keeping the secret on others.
The couple said they would share the win with extended family, with Mr Thwaite’s ex-wife saying she was ‘over the moon’ for them.
The EuroMillions draw takes place twice a week, on Tuesday and Friday nights.
People from the UK, as well as Ireland, Austria, Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain, and Switzerland can all participate.
Ticket must be purchased before 19:30, choosing five main numbers and two lucky stars.
To win the jackpot, all seven numbers drawn must match your ticket must match the ones on your ticket.
Even without winning the jackpot, you can still take home some money by matching fewer numbers.
Purchasing a ticket also automatically enters competitors into the Millionaire Maker draw, which will turn one ticket holder into a millionaire if their raffle code is picked.
