It was a mixed weekend for Liverpool. The Reds won and Manchester City dropped points against Chelsea, but Jürgen Klopp has some other worries after a 4-1 victory over Brentford.
Diogo Jota and Curtis Jones going off injured — the former on a stretcher — was hardly a good sign. Jota was spotted hobbling down the tunnel during the game and was clearly in some discomfort. He has had a few knee problems in the past and it would be a huge blow to Liverpool’s quadruple chances to lose him.
Next up in the Premier League are matches against Luton Town and Nottingham Forest before the showdown at Anfield with Manchester City. In the next five games, there is also the small matter of the Carabao Cup final against Chelsea and the FA Cup fifth round tie at home to Southampton.
