People living in an area of Liverpool have been without water all day due to a leak.
United Utilities is tackling a leak on Utting Avenue in Walton, which has meant that certain people living in the L4 postcode have no water or poor water pressure. The water company confirmed at 9am today that it was dealing with the issue, but it has not yet been resolved.
Just before 1pm, it said that repairs on Utting Avenue were underway. However in its most recent update, United Utilities said that repairs to the network could take longer than first thought.
