Emergency services are at the scene following a firearms incident
Merseyside police have confirmed that emergency services are on Alexandra Road in Birkhead following a firearms incident in the area earlier this morning (Saturday 16 March)
In a statement they stated:
Just after 2.10am we received a report that a man had entered a bar on Conway Street and threatened staff and people inside with a crowbar.
The man damaged his own vehicle with the crowbar before leaving the premises.
