A road has been closed due to a crash. North Wales Police said Meliden Road was closed near Prestatyn High School due to the road traffic collision.

A spokesman said: “Emergency Services are dealing. Please avoid the area in the meantime.”

‘Partially blocked’

The traffic website Inrix is reporting that the A547 Meliden Road is currently partially blocked in both directions with queueing traffic due to the accident at the junction with Princes Avenue.

‘Busy but moving’

The Inrix traffic website is reporting that the A547 Meliden Road is busy but vehicles are moving after an accident at its junction with Princes Avenue in Meliden.

The incident is understood to have happened at about 3.05pm today.
