McDonald’s remains shut
A member of staff at a business nearby said forensics officers wearing masks and gloves had been photographing the ground outside McDonald’s and had also been into the restaurant. She said: “The road was closed when I got here at 8:45 am and the forensics were just finishing up. The closure caused a lot of traffic problems elsewhere in the city centre. I’ve never seen the whole road closed like this along here.” McDonald’s is still currently closed to customers.
