Firefighters are tackling a huge blaze at what is believed to be a restaurant in Bolton.
Dramatic images from the scene show huge plumes of smoke pouring out from the building’s roof into the air in the Farnworth area of the town.
A witness at the scene said the fire involved the Lime Tree Indian restaurant.

Bolton Road in Farnworth is closed northbound and there are reports of ‘heavy traffic’ in the Moses Gate area of Farnworth as a result.
Firefighters were pictured on an aerial platform using water jets on the restaurant’s roof.
The witness reported police and ambulance crews were also at the scene, but it’s not known whether there have been any injuries reported. The extent of the damage is also not known.
Bus are also understood to have been diverted as a result of the fire
