There are huge delays on a stretch of the M62 this morning after a ‘multi-vehicle crash’.
According to traffic alert service Inrix, traffic was being ‘temporarily held’ on the westbound side at around 7am. Vehicles were stopped near junction 22 for Rishworth Moor.
One lane now remains shut after the crash, according to traffic alert service Inrix. There are delays of up to an hour and queues of more than six miles.

National Highways said: “1 (of 3) lanes closed on the #M62 westbound between J22 and J21 (#Milnrow) due to a multi vehicle collision. @NWmwaypolice are on scene. Delays of up to 1 hour on approach, approx. 6.5 miles of congestion.”
