A police cordon is in place on a main road in Stockport and a side street after an incident.
According to traffic alert service Inrix, the A6 London Road is closed off in Hazel Grove. It is shut on the southbound side between Spring Vale and Brook Street.
Spring Vale is also reportedly shut in both directions due to the incident. Officers are on the scene.

A picture of the road closure has been posted on the Stockport Daffodil 10K Race Facebook page this morning.
People running the race have been advised to follow their satnavs to get to the car parks and give themselves more time to get there.
