A road in Leicester has been closed off this morning (Monday July 8), due to a “police incident”. Thurncourt Road in Thurncourt has been shut at the junction with Nursery Road to Brook Road.
The cordon has been in place for a number of hours today, after Leicestershire Police announced the closure on X at 3.20am. It asked drivers to avoid the area.
