LIVE: A55 was closed in both directions while A470 also shut

The A55 was closed in both directions after a police incident.

At around 9pm police said the road had shut between junction 27 St Asaph and junction 24 Abergele due to an incident.




The police have also closed the A470 in Llandudno in a separate incident.

Police have now confirmed the A55 has fully reopened.

A55 now reopened

The A55 has now been reopened.

The expressway had been closed between Abergele and St Asaph after a police incident at around 9pm. No further details about the incident were released.

But police have now confirmed the road is now fully open.

A470 also closed

The A470 Conway Road in Llandudno between the Links roundabout and the top roundabout junction with Queens Road/Wormhout Way has also been closed due to a road traffic collision.

Police said: “Please avoid the area and use alternative routes.”
