He’s the son of a legendary singer with famous siblings – and was once briefly linked to Kylie Jenner.
But it appears it’s a lesser-known British reality TV star, 13 years his senior, who has captured the heart of Lionel Richie’s son Miles, insiders tell DailyMail.com.
The 29-year-old has reportedly hit it off with former The Only Way Is Essex alum Chloe Sims, 42, after they met at a nightclub in Los Angeles earlier this month, where the pair are said to have enjoyed several passionate kisses throughout the night.
Their chemistry was so strong that they have continued ‘texting and sexting’ nonstop, according to insiders, who claim they have plans to reunite when Miles is next in LA.
‘Chloe and Miles met at an LA nightclub right before New York Fashion Week,’ the insider told DailyMail.com exclusively. ‘They hit it off and were spotted kissing passionately that same night.
‘They have been texting, sexting and chatting since then and are planning to meet up asap in LA where she lives.’
Their age gap is said to be a ‘huge plus’ for singer-songwriter Miles.
‘They have great chemistry and he told her she is super hot, and that he loves older women,’ the insider added. ‘This was a huge plus for him.
‘They are very into each other and have been talking about each other to friends.’
The two have already been exchanging playful messages on social media, with Miles leaving heart emojis on a recent picture of Chloe, who replied with a kiss emoji.
Miles enjoyed the chance meeting with Chloe, who found fame on The Only Way Is Essex in 2011 and has a 19-year-old daughter, after she swapped the UK for the US last January.
The star was joined by her sisters Frankie, 27, and Demi, 25, to film the first season of their OnlyFans reality show, House Of Sims. They were also joined by Chloe’s cousin, Joey Essex.
The show was this week picked up by Netflix ahead of the second season, which could well include aspects of the TV star’s blossoming connection with Miles – whose famous father has a net worth of $200 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.
It may also feature aspects of her jet-set lifestyle, which recently saw her partying in New York with pal Rita Ora on New Year’s Eve.
Chloe, who has a reported net worth of over $1 million, is said to have signed a $1.2 million deal to film her reality show after stepping away from TOWIE following a decade on the hit series.
Her new romance could see her rubbing shoulders with one of Hollywood’s most famous families as Miles often enjoys lavish holidays and celebrations with his Grammy Award-winning father and siblings.
Miles is the son of superstar Lionel and his ex-wife, Diane Alexander, with the former couple also sharing daughter Sofia, 25.
The artist’s older sister, Nicole, is Lionel’s adoptive daughter. He and ex-wife, Brenda Harvey Richie, took her in at just three years old after her biological parents decided the couple could better care for their daughter.
Lionel and Brenda legally adopted Nicole when she was nine years old.
Nicole is married to Good Charlotte star Joel Madden, whose twin brother Benji is married to Hollywood actress Cameron Diaz.
Miles’s own love life has been private over the years with the star briefly linked to Kylie Jenner back in 2014.
Meanwhile, Chloe was last linked to ‘playboy’ businessman Morad Izemrane and prior to that she dated her fellow TOWIE alum, Peter Wicks, between 2017 and 2021.
Miles made headlines in 2019 after he allegedly made a bomb threat at a London airport.
The Metropolitan Police revealed in a statement at the time: ‘On Saturday, 19 January, a 24-year-old man accepted a caution for communicating false information causing a bomb hoax and battery following an incident at Heathrow Terminal 5 earlier that morning.’
The police did not identify Miles as the person involved, but eyewitnesses told TMZ that the star had been the one who claimed he had a bomb with him due to a frustration at not being able to get a flight.
He later allegedly punched a security guard.
Miles was given a caution – which is given out for minor crimes in the UK – and was reportedly released after accepting it.
