Khloe Kardashian received backlash after she said she was ‘exhausted’ without a live-in nanny.
The 39-year-old reality TV personality, who shares daughter True, six, and son Tatum, one, with ex Tristan Thompson, was trolled after she complained about not having more help on Thursday’s episode of The Kardashians.
After commiserating with sister Kourtney Kardashian about motherhood, some of her fans slammed her for not recognizing her privilege while others came to her defense about how ‘exhausting’ parenting is.
Some trolls took to X, formerly Twitter, to share their thoughts about Khloe’s confession and told her: ‘Welcome to the real world.’
Sharing the same sentiment, other users said she was privileged for having ‘the luxury’ of hired nannies while others told her to ‘try that without any help plus a full-time job.’
After Khloe said she wished she had nannies living in her home and helping her out at night, one X user harshly judged her confession.
‘Just shut up already! You have maids, chefs, daytime help! Talk to real women who do it all…on their own! Yuck!’ one troll remarked.
‘But has a chef, a maid, an assistant, and a nanny during the day. Give me a break,’ another wrote while a third added: ‘Exhausted caring for 2 children?’
‘Cool,’ another X user tweeted. ‘So are the rest of us that are doing it not in a $20 million mansion.’
Another responded to her admission sarcastically and wrote: ‘Folks I’m exhausted but I have all these professional people on speed dial if needed. Boy, what a rough life I have.’
One social media user pointed out that despite not having a live-in nanny, she still had the help of ‘just a chef, housekeeper, personal trainer, in-home doctors.’
‘Poor woman,’ the hater wrote.
Meanwhile, some other fans came to Khloe’s defense as they agreed that parenting is difficult no matter what.
During Thursday’s episode of the ongoing fifth season, Khloe told her older sister about how her ex-boyfriend and father of her children was out of town, playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA.
Although she acknowledged Tristan is a ‘big help when he’s here,’ her tasks become more arduous when he leaves town for work.
‘He’s a big help when he’s here,’ she admitted. ‘And, you know, I don’t have nannies at night, which I might have to change or at least have someone be available sometimes.’
She expressed her concerns while explaining why she declined to join a family trip to Paris Fashion Week, on the latest episode of The Kardashians.
‘I just didn’t feel like it was the place for me. I was just getting anxious leaving the kids,’ she explained to her eldest sister.
‘Tristan is gone and it’s hard for me to leave them and I don’t have like a parent to stay with them and then I was thinking, the whole family was out of the country, and I was like: “What if there’s an earthquake? What if there’s something?” There’s no parent. I was just freaking myself out,’ she admitted.

Kourtney herself passed on the Paris trip because she was near the end of her pregnancy with her and Travis Barker’s son Rocky Thirteen, six months.
She asked Khloe how she was coping with parenting by herself, what with Tristan in Cleveland for his job with the Cavaliers.
‘I’m fine. It’s just he’s a big help when he’s here and, you know, I don’t have nannies at night, which I might have to change, or at least have like someone be available sometimes,’ the Revenge Body With Khloe Kardashian hostess shared.
‘So you have no one that lives in right now?’ asked Kourtney, and Khloe confirmed that she did not, noting that she herself was ‘so hands-on’ with her children.
She prepares breakfast and lunch for True everyday, she said, adding that ‘I do everything and no one… I don’t let anyone else do it. Tristan has done it, but I’m so particular. Oh my gosh I can’t even think about that.’
In a confessional, she explained: ‘Listen, I love my routine. I love being with my kids, but being a parent is hard and it’s f***ing every day after 8:30 when True’s asleep, I am like crawling like I’m Leonardo DiCaprio in Wolf of Wall Street like: “How do I get there?” Then you wake up again and do it all over.’
Khloe pointed out that her daily parenting tasks include ‘the cute s**t that you’re so excited to do,’ like making ‘cookie-cutter hearts’ out of watermelon for her children.
‘God forbid you don’t, but like at the same time it’s like, all you want is… it’s the weirdest f***ing thing, cause you’re exhausted and you’re like: “I’m gonna die,” and then literally when they’re asleep then I’m like: “I miss them,”‘ she reflected, quipping: ‘Like, get it together Khloe! Snap out of it.’
The day the episode aired, Khloe posted a heartwarming selfie with her mother Kris Jenner, little True and Kim Kardashian’s daughter Chicago, six.
They were all pictured at the Hollywood Bowl last Friday attending the live concert of The Lion King – where Kim’s eldest daughter North, 10, made her acting debut.
North was playing young Simba in the production and sang a full rendition of I Just Can’t Wait To Be King, a song popularized in the original 1994 movie.
Her appearance ignited a furious online controversy in which she was accused of getting the job solely because of her family connections.
Khloe and Tristan had a tempestuous on-off relationship that was repeatedly buffeted by Tristan’s infidelity before finally falling apart in 2021.
