Jose Mourinho has reached an agreement to become Fenerbahce’s new manager, according to reports.
The iconic Portuguese boss has been out of work since Roma sacked him in January.
talkSPORT understands Mourinho recently held talks with Saudi Arabian club Al Qadsiah over their managerial vacancy.
However, Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio now reports the 61-year-old will be announced as the new manager of Turkish Super Lig giants Fenerbahce on Friday.
It is claimed the former Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham manager has agreed a two-year contract.
The 61-year-old was dismissed from his position at Roma following a disappointing campaign that left the Serie A side ninth in the table.
He had been in charge there for two-and-a-half years, joining them six months after being sacked by Tottenham.
He guided Roma to two sixth-place finishes in the league but enjoyed greater success in Europe.
After winning the Europa Conference League in 2022, Mourinho led them to the Europa League final in 2023, but lost on penalties to Sevilla.
Mourinho is set to return to football before his work with Fenerbahce begins after landing a surprise new job for the Champions League final coverage.
