Jennifer Lopez shared a heartfelt Father’s Day message to Ben Affleck, as he spent the special occasion with ex-wife Jennifer Garner and his three children
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are seemingly going through a testing time in their marriage at the moment, with the rumour-mill going into overdrive that they could be headed for divorce.
But the Jenny from the Block singer seemed to quash some of the intense speculation on Sunday as she shared a telling message to the A-list actor.
Taking to her official Instagram page, Jen, 54, shared a black-and-white image of a brooding Ben, 51, along with some kind words. She referred to Ben as “Our Hero,” showing that there is clearly still a lot of love between them both.
She then added a love heart emoji and rounded off the post with “Happy Father’s Day”. Ben is father to children Violet, Serafina and Samuel, who he shares with ex Jennifer Garner, 52.

He is also stepfather to J.Lo’s two children, Max and Emme. Jennifer’s post comes after it was reported earlier this week that she was “over” trying to salvage her marriage with Ben amid him moving out of the marital home.
A source alleged to the publication that she is no longer in doing “more” to keep her marriage together. The insider claimed: ” “Jenny has had enough and she really tried but she can do no more, it’s not getting any better, it’s worse,”
The outlet also went on to claim that Jennifer has had enough due to Ben’s alleged “grumpy and negative” nature. The insider went on: “Ben is a great guy but he can be grumpy and a downer. I think the world saw that in photos like when they were at the Grammys last year; he wouldn’t smile. If they saw how it really was, they would not attack her.
“He chain smokes and cusses and seems irritated a lot of the time. Great director and actor, but not a lot of laughs with him, you know?” The source added. “He is a wonderful father though.”
Ben was seen spending Father’s Day with ex Jennifer Garner. He was spotted arriving at the gate of her gated community property on Sunday.
It comes amid reports that Jennifer is “encouraging” Ben and J.Lo to “work on their marriage,” a source told US Weekly. The source claimed: “Jennifer Garner is encouraging Ben to work on his marriage to Jen. She fully supports their relationship and wants nothing more than for him to be happy.”
