Jenna Coleman has reunited with her ex Richard Madden during a culture-filled trip to Barcelona.
The Victoria actress, 37, shared a selfie with her former love, 37, who she split from in 2015, as they explored the Spanish city over the weekend.
The ex couple smiled happily for the camera as they cosied up in a Spanish street, with no sign of Jenna’s current boyfriend Jamie Childs.
Jenna and Richard dated on and off for four years after getting together in 2012.
Their relationship coincided with their soaring careers, with Richard starring in Game Of Thrones at the time while Jenna had landed her Doctor Who role.
In the early days of their relationship, a proud Richard gushed about visiting his girlfriend on the set of Doctor Who. ‘I’ve watched Doctor Who since I was a kid. I loved it, and I still love it,’ he declared.
‘I was selfie-ing the s**t out of it, and sending it to my dad! “Look, it’s me in the TARDIS!” I thought it was the coolest thing ever. I can geek out about it, like when I go to set and see the TARDIS.’
While they often showed their support for one another at red carpet premieres of their various projects, the couple ended up splitting for good in 2015.
Jenna soon struck up a romance with her Prince Albert in drama series Victoria, Tom Hughes, who she ended up dating for seven years.
Richard meanwhile moved on with actress Ellie Bamber, who he split from in 2019.
Just last month fans were speculating that Jenna had secretly married her current boyfriend Jamie Childs after she was spotted wearing a chunky gold band on her wedding finger several times.
Jenna and director Jamie met on the set of Netflix series The Sandman in 2020 and have been working together again on Jamie’s first film Jackdaw, which was released last month.
Jenna is currently filming new BBC detective drama The Jetty which is expected to hit screens next year.
In the four-part series, a fire wrecks a holiday home in a Lancashire lake town and Jenna’s character Detective Ember is tasked with seeing how the blaze connects to a podcast journalist, who is investigating a crime.
The journalist is looking into a missing persons cold case and an illicit ‘love’ triangle between a man in his twenties and two underage girls.
While she starts to close in on answers, Ember’s life begins to fall apart, as she is driven to face up to her past, present and the town she’s always called home.
The Jetty is designed to delve into the moral legacy of the Me Too movement and ask questions about sexual morality, identity and memory.
Richard is also working on a detective thriller, teaming up with Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Shailene Woodley for Prime’s Killer Heat, which wrapped filming in Crete last summer.
