CHELSEA are preparing to offer Manchester United two players and a transfer fee to sign Jadon Sancho, according to sensational reports in Germany.
The English forward, 24, spent the second half of last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund after a falling out with Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag.
He returned to Old Trafford in the summer and featured off the bench last weekend in Man Utd’s Community Shield defeat to Manchester City.
But now he is being linked with a shock move to Chelsea as the new campaign is set to get underway.
According to German publication Fussball News, the Blues are willing to offer a fee and two academy players in a deal for Sancho.
They are also open to the idea of loaning him with an obligation to buy.
This would include Chelsea paying his salary during the loan stint.
Sancho would be Chelsea’s 10th signing of the summer and add to the £160million they have already spent in the window.
He had been linked with a switch to Paris Saint-Germain before the move broke down and the Ligue 1 champions turned their attention towards Rennes man Desire Doue.
Sancho, who joined Man Utd from Dortmund for £73m in 2021, is now understood to have a price tag in the region of £35m.

He has played 83 games since arriving in England, scoring 12 goals and assisting six.
During his loan spell at Dortmund last season, he scored three goals and provided three assists in 21 matches.
That came after he was ousted from Man Utd’s first-team squad in September last year when he claimed he was being made a “scapegoat”.
He was responding to Ten Hag leaving him out of his squad for their 3-1 defeat to Arsenal, with the coach citing Sancho’s performances in training as the reason for the decision.
But Ten Hag recently attempted to rectify their relationship, saying: “We [Sancho and I] had good discussions.
“Everyone can make mistakes. If a player reflects on that well, you draw a line under it and move on.”
Chelsea fan
Sancho was previously linked with a move to Chelsea 12 months ago before his fall-out with Ten Hag.
He has also gone on record as saying he was a Chelsea fan growing up and that Blues icon Frank Lampard was his favourite player.
He told talkSPORT: “I was a Chelsea fan growing up, I can’t lie!
“Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard were my favourite players at the time.
“I just love Frank Lampard and how he played his game; he was so direct and so composed on the ball. I like things like that.”
