Viewers have called Fred Sirieix’s exit ‘karma’ after he became the third campmate to leave I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here. At the end of Tuesday’s show (December 5), it was revealed that First Dates star Fred had received the fewest votes from the public and would be leaving the jungle immediately.
It came as the TV star volunteered to face the trial Fly On The Wall alongside JLS singer Marvin Humes. Once again, it was up to the campmates themselves to decide who took on the trial in a bid to win stars – and food – for camp.
After winning seven out of nine stars in Celebrity Distressing Rooms on Monday (December 4), Fred vowed to take on the trial once again, despite his fellow campmates also expressing their interest in taking part.

Having read out the trial name, and explaining that two campmates were needed, Tony Bellew said: “Once every celebrity has spoken, then have your say.”
Marvin quickly said: “I’m up for doing it, 100%. I want to get eight stars for everyone, so I’m ready to go,” to which everyone voted for Marvin to do it. Tony then said he wouldn’t mind doing he trial, as Hollyoaks’ Nick Pickard also said he was ‘happy to do it’.
But Fred took charge and told his campmates: I’ll go with Marvin, just because why not. I’m ready to go.” Made In Chelsea star Sam then added: “I’m happy to go as well. Happy to do it and you know, want to bring some stars back for the team. I think Marv should definitely be going because you haven’t done one yet and I know you are superman. And Fred, if you want to do it…”.
Fred then angered fans as he responded: “Don’t worry, I’m going. You can carry on playing with your toys, we’ll do the men’s stuff. I’m going with Marvin, I’ve already decided.”
Sam, who appeared to look rather ‘sad’ by Fred’s comment, then said in the Bush Telegraph: “I hope he doesn’t think that I just want to stay in camp. I really, really want to help. I also don’t want to argue about it. I don’t have a backbone. I’m not going to sit there and say, ‘No I want to do it.’”
Fred and Marvin then took on the trial, dressed in giant fly costumes, and ended up winning five out of a possible eight stars. But fans were left ‘heartbroken’ by Sam’s reaction to Fred’s comment, as they noticed he looked ‘deflated’.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, @antsdefiniton said: “My heart breaks for sam omg #imAceleb,” as @tommysnation agreed: “Sam looks so deflated after that comment from fred my heart is breaking:( #imaceleb.”
@autismgrowingup also wrote: “Nah fred im out! Sorry, after speaking to sam like that, i cant defend u again!! #ImACeleb,” as @KellyNicolson82 said: “I can’t handle Sam’s sad face. It’s too heartbreaking to see Fred being mean to him. #ImACeleb.”
@JamiesonRach also wrote: “#ImACeleb I like Fred but what he said about Sam playing with his toys was completely unacceptable and mean – Sam looks really sad, the first time I have seen him sad – #poorsam,” as @XFlaminBeckyX agreed: “I feel for Sam as the comment Fred made about him was disgusting and the poor boy looks so deflated now#imaceleb.”
After it was revealed that Fred was the latest celebrity to lose his place in the camp, viewers of the ITV show called it ‘karma’.
@jordxnrose took to X to say: “Loool karma is a b**ch, fred in for a massive shock when he gets his phone back,” as @RealW7Crossley wrote: “Fred is out, Karma that for Sam #ImACeleb,” and @PirateScorcher echoed: “Fred deserves to leave after what he said to Sam lol #ImACeleb.”
@RyanTheSoapking also said: “Honestly I’m not surprised that Fred has gone. He started off well but the moment he targeted Josie over the cooking and then started patronising Sam that was the moment he sealed his own fate. Can’t lie I’m glad he’s gone.”
@Gemma_Louise_89 also added: “Its the right time for Fred to go he’s not been doing himself any favours the last few days , more than ready to leave I think #imacelebrity #imaceleb.”
