Introducing Boss Rush – Our latest community event

It’s been a little while since we introduced The TA Open, and our amazing Community and Events Team have been busy thinking up new ideas to make your achievement-hunting as interesting as possible.

Their latest creation is now ready for you to take part in, and it’s called Boss Rush.

What is Boss Rush?

Every day for the first ten days of July, we will reveal a new Boss for you to tackle.

Each boss has a health bar, and you attack them by earning achievements (I mean, how else could it work?).

The health bar gets diminished for every point of TrueAchievement score you earn via your achievement unlocks, until you finally kill the boss and can move onto the next one, if it has been revealed.

How long does the event last?

The event runs through the whole of July, so you’ll have a total of 31 days to kill all 10 of the bosses.

Of course, you can make killing the bosses easier or harder by using the modifiers.

Oh didn’t we explain the modifiers?

Each boss has a strength and a weakness. Unlock achievements in a boss’ weak category, and you’ll score a critical hit and do more damage. Conversely, unlock achievements in a boss’ strength category, and your damage will be partially blocked.

Is there a Community Badge for Boss Rush?

Yes there is – you’ll need to eliminate the first 4 bosses by the end of the month in order to earn your badge.
