Indy Clinton shared devastating news about her newborn daughter’s health on Wednesday.
The mummy vlogger, 27, took to Instagram to inform her followers baby Soul Valerie, who she welcomed into the world three months ago, had contracted a virus.
Posting a snap of her third child crawling over her belly, the influencer said her tot was sick with respiratory syncytial virus (RSV).
‘My little babycino has RSV,’ she captioned the image alongside a crying emoji.
According to the Mayo Clinic, RSV causes infections of the lungs and respiratory tract, and is very common in young toddlers and babies.
In healthy children, and sometimes adults, the symptoms are often mild and usually mimic the common cold.
However, RSV can also cause severe infections in some babies younger than 12 months old, leaving Indy reasonably concerned.
The illness comes just a few months after Indy discussed her plans to have a fourth child.
While she revealed to her followers she had no immediate plans to get pregnant again, more kids were on the cards for her in the future.
Taking to Instagram in January, she shared a photo alongside her son Navy, three, and Soul, explaining: ‘I want to enjoy my three little babies and the rest of my 20s.’
The mother-of-three continued: ‘Maybe in my early 30s when they’re all at primary school I will want another or two, but definitely not now.’
The Sydney-based influencer said while she would love to have ‘fifty kids’, she wants to ensure that each child gets the love, energy and time they deserve.
‘I want to enjoy them being young and I don’t think I could do that if I rushed to have more now,’ she concluded.
Speaking to Daily Mail Australia about her plans for 2024 in December, she explained: ‘Hopefully I’m not pregnant again.
‘That would be a disaster if I have my fourth child in four years.’
