Food critic Grace, 50, recalled her toughest moments and confessed: ‘Leaving my campmates and the girls will be the greatest regret of my life.’

Speaking about her fellow campmates, she added: ‘These wonderful humans just scooped me up and brought out a side of me that I just didn’t think that I had.’

And it seemed as though her campmates left a lasting impression, as Jamie Lynn revealed: ‘I think I wanna move to the UK, I’d like them to adopt me’ adding: ‘I’ve literally made life-long friends.’

Grace became the first contestant to quit the show this year amid mounting speculation about her ill appearance, with sources telling MailOnline being voted for another gruesome Bushtucker Trial ‘pushed her over the edge.’

Jamie Lynn followed her exit citing ‘medical issues’, leaving the series in crisis after two stars opted to leave for the first time in the show’s 21-year history.

Speaking about the pair returning for the show’s reunion episode following their shock exits, a TV source told MailOnline: ‘Jamie and Grace will be speaking for the first time since they quit life in the jungle.

‘Viewers will finally get to hear first-hand the highs and lows experienced by both of the stars, who are yet to open about the reasons behind their shock departures.

‘Grace goes into detail about the struggles she faced while Jamie hints that the love and admiration she has for her campmates will see her travel to the UK for a reunion.’

On Sunday evening, Sam was crowned King of the Jungle, beating heavyweight boxer Tony Bellew to the title.

The ITV final was watched by a peak audience of 7.6million and the series has reached over 25million viewers including across streaming platform ITVX.

Sam was congratulated by his co-stars including This Morning host Josie Gibson who presented him with the floral jungle crown.

The cast have since been enjoying their freedom and luxuries, sunbathing in Australia, with Sam singing JLS hits alongside Marvin Humes.

Celebrating the end of the series with a party, the celebrities were reportedly ‘tame’ and opted out of a late night in favour of catching up with loved ones at home.

Shortly after her return to the UK, Grace shared a post with her followers saying she was ‘overwhelmingly sad’ over having to leave the show earlier than she anticipated.

She explained that her ‘wet’ time in the jungle with no contact from friends and family left her in appreciation of ‘normal life’, which she now sees as ‘beautiful.’

Grace added: ‘I didn’t go out as I planned or I wanted, but I did what I could, and I did it in a siren red gel manicure without chipping a nail. I didn’t cry when I took off my bra to find a family of mealworms living in the right cup. At some level, this *must* be an achievement.’

Meanwhile, Jamie, who jetted back to the US after leaving the camp, described starring in I’m A Celeb as an ‘incredibly special time’ saying her co-stars were some of the ‘best people’ she had ever met.

Jamie struggled from the get-go because she missed her children and the wet weather conditions also made her time in the jungle harder to cope with.

Although her reason for leaving has not been officially revealed, Jamie spent a lot of her time on the show in tears and said being away from her two daughters became overwhelming.

I’m A Celebrity… Coming Out will air on Wednesday 13th December, 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
