I’M A Celeb fans have spotted a ‘critical error’ in Josie Gibson’s jungle introduction and have predicted it will ‘cost her dearly’ on show.
The This Morning presenter is one of the 12 famous faces taking part in this year’s series of the ITV programme.
The cast will certainly have to face their fears while they are in the jungle – whether that be small spaces, the dark or insects…
Before heading Down Under, Josie was very honest about what she is not a huge fan of.
She said: “I am dreading the insects and it’s my biggest phobia.
“I also don’t like spiders and I freeze when I normally see one.
“My family thinks I’m mad doing the programme too as they know what I’m like with creepy crawlies!”
Many were left shocked that she was so honest about her fears – and have predicted what is going to happen in the episodes to come.
One said: “Never say you are scared of spiders – they be leashing them at you all season.”
“You should never have said,” another chimed in.
When she landed in Brisbane airport to take part in the show, Josie couldn’t speak about her son Reggie because she found it too emotional having left him in the UK.
Asked what she’ll miss the most, she said: “Obviously my little boy, it was really emotional saying goodbye. I can’t talk about it, it’s too emotional.”
Today she fought back tears as she filmed a goodbye video for This Morning before heading to Australia.
Filming a video in her car at the airport, Josie said: “The rumours are true, I am heading to the jungle. I have just arrived at Heathrow airport now.
“I have said an emotional goodbye to Reggie and I keep thinking to myself ‘what have a done? What have I signed up for?’. I am just hoping I am a survivor.
“Thank you for all your support, I just hope I can get through this because I cannot stand creepy crawlies, I don’t like heights, I don’t like rats, I don’t like snakes, so wish me luck.”
