Vanessa Feltz went through a highly publicised split last year after discovering her longtime fiance Ben Ofoedu was cheating on her.
The TV presenter, 61, told Instagram followers that she has finally built up the courage to spend the night alone, after leaving Phats & Small singer Ben, 51, a year ago.
The couple had been together for 16-years, regularly spoke out about their romance and were often seen looking cosy on the red carpet at glitzy events.
But former Celebrity Big Brother housemate Vanessa was heartbroken after discovering Ben had cheated on her.
The presenter reportedly found a string of social media messages and emails from Ben, 50, to other women last year.
Addressing Instagram followers on Sunday, she wrote: ‘You know I’ve said dozens of times that I don’t like being on my own and I don’t like being single.
‘I haven’t stayed in a single night since January 2023, not one single night. I’ve been out every day because I just haven’t felt nice sitting at home on my own. I haven’t felt relaxed enough to do it.
‘Well guess what, tonight’s the night – oh yes! I’m going to do supper, I’m going to eat it.
‘I’m going to have a lovely warm bubble bath and then I’m going to watch some blinking TV and I’m going to enjoy it.
‘That is progress. It’s taken me a hell of a lot of time to get here, an awfully long time. It’s been over 390 nights out in total or something ridiculous.
‘Tonight though is the first exception and that must mean I’m a lot more chilled so thank goodness for that.
‘Everybody’s been so g***** nice and so bloody supportive in the last year. I really can’t thank you enough – it’s meant the world, it really has.
‘So TV, supper, a bath – and do you know what, that sounds like quite a good prospect to me’, she concluded the clip, before signing it off with ‘lots of love’.
Just recently, the BBC presenter risked an awkward run-in with Ben Ofoedu as he arrived with his new girlfriend Precious Muir, 33 at Back To The Future’s 1000th West End performance event on Thursday.
The broadcaster, 61, put on her best brave face as she beamed at the Adelphi Theatre in London.
Ben looked smitten with his TV personality girlfriend as they posed arm-in-arm at the event.
But remaining in best spirits, Vanessa arrived at the event in a gorgeous leopard printed dress as she posed up a storm before heading in to watch the musical.
Precious told MailOnline: ‘Yes we enjoy spending time together. We haven’t put any labels on it but yes we spend time together and will continue to spend time together’.
