An old photo has emerged of Neighbours star Holly Candy (aka Holly Valance) in a ‘Communist-inspired’ tank top.
In the throwback image, Holly, 40, is seen posing in a white singlet emblazoned with a hammer and the sickle, which was the symbol of the former Soviet Union.
Sharing the picture to X on Wednesday, a fan took a dig at the former soap star, who recently emerged as a conservative after marrying property developer Nick Candy.
‘A relaxed Holly Valance advocating the Theory of Permanent Revolution and the forceful overthrow of the bourgeoisie,’ they wrote beside the image.
Other fans on the thread were quick to throw shade on Holly, who rose to fame on Neighbours as Felicity ‘Flick’ Scully and now lives in the U.K.

‘I’m sure her billionaire husband is on board with that [photo],’ added another follower sarcastically.
‘There’s always a photo of um, a Neighbours ‘star’ in Soviet-era kitsch,’ commented another.
It comes as Holly revealed herself as a fervent supporter of the far-right wing of Britain’s Tory party.

In an interview with GB News, Valance described how she was motivated to attend this morning’s launch event in order to ‘listen to good ideas’.
‘I’m a citizen like everyone else here who’s concerned about the way things are going in the country,’ the former actress said.
‘Many things worry and bother me with two little children to bring up – what they might inherit. So I want to come and listen to ideas, good ideas.’
She added: ‘Everyone starts off as a leftie and then wakes up at some point after you start either making money, working, trying to run a business, trying to buy a home, and then realise what crap ideas they all are – and then you go to the right.
